Mossburn Community Farm is open daily from 10am until 3pm.
Like all of our animals, you are free to roam around the farm. All we ask is that you close gates behind you and do not feed any of the animals.
If you are unsure about anything our yard staff will be more than happy to help and will even take you for a guided tour around the farm if they are free.
There is no entry fee to visit Mossburn Community Farm but donations to support our work are always welcome. The easiest way to make a donation is through our website - Click here to make a donation!

By bus: there is a bus service from Lochmaben to Hightae (McCalls Coaches 117)
To reach Lochmaben by bus from Annan - Houstons Coaches - 383 (Monday to Friday) & McCalls Coaches - 383 (Saturday only)
To reach Lochmaben by bus from Lockerbie - Houstons Coaches service 381
To reach Lochmaben by bus from Dumfries - Houstons Coaches service 381
By bike: Dumfries and Galloway is known for fantastic cycling and is a recognised UCI bike region. We've made some suggested routes of how to reach us by bike from Lockerbie, Annan and Dumfries train stations. We can easily be visited as part of a day trip by bike form Glasgow using the train service to link up your journey.
No bike booking is required on the ScotRail services to Dumfries and Annan. Lockerbie is on the West Coast Mainline and a bike reservation is required with your ticket.
