OUR MISSION
"Enhancing the lives of people and animals"
Mossburn Community Farm was established in 1990 to provide help for misused, unwanted and neglected horses and ponies. This original remit was later widened and we now care for a range of farm and domestic animals.

Our team at the farm is dedicated to ensuring that the care and wellbeing of all our animals is of the highest standard at all times.

Many of our volunteers come to us feeling that volunteering with animals will be mutually beneficial to all involved, finding that spending time in a natural setting surrounded by animals has a positive impact on both their physical and mental health.

We make every effort to operate sustainably and in harmony with our environment. We diligently strive to implement the best possible animal and human welfare practices throughout our organisation and to spread the vital message of animal welfare to our members, donors, friends, colleagues and associates, as well as to our local and wider communities.

Here at Mossburn, our philosophy is that all life, whether it is animal, insect, plant or human deserves to be treated with respect, care, kindness, concern and empathy.
