A section of one of the barn buildings at Mossburn needs the steelwork and timber replacing as well as a new roof so to help with raising the funds we are running an online pet show! With four categories (cats, dogs, equines and ‘open to all’) and 23 classes overall, there really is something for everyone and all animals! If you aren’t entering any photos then please do still join in with spreading the word and voting for your favourites in each class.
The Pet Show will run on this Facebook Page – www.facebook.com/MossburnPetShow and will work as follows:
Entries will be £2 per photo and can be submitted from Saturday 1st October until 6pm Sunday 9th October. Full details on how to enter will be posted on the Facebook page prior to the start of the show.
All classes will then be posted online and voting will open in stages with the winners being the photos with the most votes at the end of the voting period for that class. PLEASE NOTE – only Like and Love reacts will be counted.
Rosettes will be sent out to 1st-3rd place entries in all classes and winners of each class will receive some extra prizes for their furry friends too!
Winners will be announced on the evening that voting closes for each category.
Voting for the cat classes will run from 6pm Monday 9th to 6pm Friday 14th
Voting for the dog classes will run from 6pm Tuesday 10th to 6pm Saturday 15th
Voting for the equine classes will run from 6pm Wednesday 11th to 6pm Sunday 16th
Voting for the “open to all” classes will run from 6pm Thursday 12th to 6pm Monday 17th
The winners of all classes in the cat, dog and equine categories will then be entered into championships where the team at Dryfe Vets will choose their favourite photos to win Reserve Champion and Champion in each of the three categories. The winners will receive special rosettes and some extra prizes!
The Championship winners will be announced at 8pm on Wednesday 19th October, along with the grand total of funds raised!
