🦋 SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER | 9.30AM–1PM

Community Moth Trapping Event

Discover the fascinating world of local moths with ecologist Malcolm Haddow. Learn about these important creatures while helping with local conservation and collecting valuable data. All ages welcome!

If you're interested in hosting a moth trap locally the night before, get in touch with the organisers.

🚲 SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER | 2PM–4PM

Local Long-Distance Walking & Cycling Trails Workshop

Interested in exploring routes such as the Annandale Way, Southern Upland Way, Kirkpatrick Macmillan Coast to Coast or Roman & Rievers Route? Come along and learn how to tackle these longer adventures in manageable chunks — including how to make them work without a car.

There’ll be a talk followed by a drop-in Q&A.

🚲 SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER | 12.30PM–2PM

How to Teach Your Child to Cycle

Join Josh from South West Scotland Cycle Training for practical advice and guidance on helping your child learn to ride a bike — from getting started to developing confidence and cycling independently and safely.
