Wendy is a champagne ferret.

A local Policeman who was animal mad and ferret mad in particular had half a dozen ferrets of his own but still visited us regularly to see ours and the rest of the animals here. He eventually gave up the Police force to work in animal welfare but, unfortunately, was unable to take his ferrets with him so they came to us.
Wendy is the last of his ferrets, we do not know her age but think since the others have passed on due to old age that she is not very young.

Wendy is a lovely natured female who never bites and likes to be handled. She is a squeaker, whenever she is let out of her pen to run about she arches up her neck and jumps about squeaking, very amusing to watch, it is almost as if she knows how to attract an audience!
